Sunday, October 08, 2017: What We’re Singing This Sunday

For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

COMPELLED is a movement among our church to live as we’ve been loved by Jesus. We believe God is calling us to do this by expanding our ministry capacity so that we can impact more people with the Good News that His Kingdom has been unleashed amidst our fallen world through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.

It is our firm conviction that prayer is the impetus of Gospel impact. God has sovereignly ordained it to be the church’s first act of love and its first work of mission. Therefore we must remain devoted to prayer throughout this important season of our church’s life, which is why we are providing a resource called Compelled to Pray.

Compelled to Pray is your daily guide to praying for LifePoint’COMPELLED campaign. We are asking every person who calls LifePoint their church home to set a reminder to visit The City weekdays at noon (or sometime after) for a short devotional and up-to-date prayer needs for the campaign.

In lieu of Sunday In Advance, I encourage you to use Compelled to Pray each day this week. You can still find out what songs we’re singing this Sunday directly below.

Set List for Sunday, October 08, 2017:
